‍A game of chance? Or a scientific experiment? It’s probably the former. A new study out of India has found that Gamers are more inclined to develop metaphysical beliefs than non-gamers do. This doesn’t mean that they’re supernatural or divine creatures – more likely, it’s that people who play video games regularly grow to believe in higher powers and deities. When used responsibly, gaming can be a great way to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries after a long day at work or school. However, when used too much or for too long, it can also have negative effects on the brain. Here are 10 tips for playing less games and getting back into shape.

    Quit playing games before bed

Just like anything in life, starting the day with a game can have a negative impact on the rest of your health. A large study found that when people are stressed out, they’re more likely to develop mood-related side effects like increased heart rate and blood pressure, increased hunger, and a desire to do more active things like walking, playing sports, and working out. It’s also important to note that regular gaming does not mean that one is prayers, voodoo, or in any other way associated with negative energy. To get a proper night’s sleep, you need to avoid getting too busy, taking too many risks, and taking unwise actions net worth.

    ## Don’t play too much

Just as we all store more calories when we’re stressed out, we also tend to chow down on computer games. A normal day of work would see people burning between 200 – 300 kcal in the morning and evening, depending on their speed and the demands placed on them. However, when people are stressed out, they’re likely to burn between 500 – 1000 kcal in the morning and evening, depending on their mood. Many games allow you to set a goal (usually printed on the screen) for how much calories you’re willing toatable for and how often you’re willing to eat. Ideally, you should aim to burn this number in the first/second day of work and then track the progress from there.

    ## Turn off the TV

This one might seem like a no-brainer, but it’s really hard not to do when you’re binge-watching shows like The Big Bang Theory or The Comeback. It’s difficult to put down the TV when you’re so busy thinking about all the things that are happening in your life right now. It can even be harmful, as research has shown that when people watch too many ads, they become less satisfied with life and are more likely to engage in negative self-talk such as, ‘I need more TV.’ But turn off the TV and you’re off the grid for good.

    ## Take a walk

As you get closer to working out and getting strong, you’re likely to spend more time focused on diet and exercise. So, you might consider a walk as a healthy way to clear your mind. Scheduling a walk will allow you to clear your mind and give your body time to relax. It’s also an excellent way to clear your mind if you’re experiencing negative thoughts or Feeling Low.

    ## Try to be mindful of your own body

This may seem obvious, but it’s actually one of the most overlooked benefits of gaming. It can be a great way to remind yourself that you’re in charge of your body and it doesn’t need to follow any particular orders. For example, if you’re having a bad day and you’re feeling creative go ahead and doodle it, but make sure you’re maintaining eye contact, calmness and focus throughout your process. If you notice that your breathing is getting heavier or your heart rate is racing, it may be that you’re experiencing anxiety or worry. Try to calm yourself down and take some inventory of how you’re feeling right now. Are you happy with the way your day went? What did you do that for?

    ## Play together

Just as we all spend more time together during times of high activity, we also spend more time playing video games together. It doesn’t matter if you’re a friend who’s always together or you’re the most competitive person in the room. It’s likely that you’ll be spending more time playing games together if you’re in a roomful of friends. When you’re having Striped Video Game Night, you might decide that you want to be as competitive as possible. This is great if you’re also looking to get in some exercise in the evenings.

    ## Follow your favourite players

Follow your favourite video game characters and try out new game types. It doesn’t matter if you want to play as a goddess, a billionaire, a space tourist, or a 90-year-old person, as long as you feel comfortable playing as anything, you’re in great shape. It’s also a great way to try new foods and cocktails that you might not otherwise consider having. For example, if you’re a real estate investor and you’re looking to invest in high-rise developments, try your hand at generating income by buying and selling various property types.

    ## Try an exercise routine

Exercising has been proven to improve a number of different health outcomes, including fitness, mental health, and sleep. It’s also been proven to reduce stress and improve mood. Try to do something new every day that you can see yourself doing again and again, whether that’s going for a walks or some type of physical activity. You may find that doing something new keeps you on track and on course for your goals, while also helping you feel more satisfied with yourself and less stressed out.

    ## Take a break

Everyday life is busy, exhausting and full of distractions. Try to take a break every so often, even if it is only for a few hours. It can help you focus more on what’s happening in the room, and help you to unwind a little more comfortably.

    ## Conclusion

The beauty of gaming is that you can combine all these tips from this article with any of your favourite games to create the ultimate gaming workout. Whether you’re looking for a quick break from daily life or you’re looking for a full-time workout, there are plenty of games available that can help you get your heart rate up, keep you active, and replenish your energy.
